Roof quetion: we are about to buy a house in Katy. We did our own inspection in the middle of the day during bright sun shine. In a second floor at
...tic, we could see light coming in between the siding on the side of the attic and the roof. The roof is under warranty. The sellers contacted the roofing contractor who said the roof was within specs.
It seems to me that there should be flashing along the edge of the roof so there would be no way for water, wind, or pest / bugs to penitrate.

I don't want to put in a mini-heater. I've heard about recirc valves that have a thermostat and recirc the h/w into the cold line until the water's hot again. Does this work?
